Currently, I am reading the book Experiencing God by Henry and Richard Blackaby for my quiet time with the Lord. I wrote this poem as a response to what God showed me during our time together last night. In Most of my prayers, I address God as Father. It’s my favorite address of Him reminding me that I am His child and that I can ‘plead my adoption into His family as my stronghold (from Spurgeon)’ whether in times of trials or success.
